Safeguarding

Marvel Stadium is committed to promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people who come to Marvel Stadium on event and non-event days, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people, who access activities, programs, services or facilities for which Marvel Stadium is responsible for.

Marvel Stadium’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures seek to promote and protect the rights of all children who come to Marvel Stadium as patrons and guests and prevent abuse from occurring by fostering enabling a child safe, culturally appropriate, and welcoming culture.

The welfare and safety of children and young people at Marvel stadium is a key priority of our stadium and we have a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and harm. In the event a concern or allegation is raised in relation to child abuse that has occurred at Marvel Stadium, Marvel Stadium will ensure it is treated seriously, in a culturally sensitive manner and fully investigated in accordance with relevant legislation and Marvel Stadium’s Policy and Procedures.

We aim to create a safe, inclusive and child-friendly environment where children and young people feel safe and have fun while attending events.
